Club structure

Daventry Squash Club is a member of Daventry and District Sports Club

Commercial interests are nominal in that Daventry Squash Club is only required to meet incurred running expenses and to fund the development of squash facilities within the complex.

With the administration of the club being carried out by a committee wholly elected from the membership, Daventry Squash Club is able to offer excellent facilities at highly competitive rates to its members.

Careful equation of total membership to the five courts available, also ensures better than average opportunity to secure court playing time.

Organised activities include:

• Coaching Junior and Adult, supervised by SRA registered coaches

• Northamptonshire SRA leagues with 6 teams

• Internal Club Leagues & Competitions We try to place new members in a league suitable to their playing ability. If you are interested in playing internal club league squash, David Edge our league secretary would be pleased to hear from you. An indication of playing standard would be helpful, e.g. novice, intermediate, average club, county or National Grading Scheme.

• Club Nights
Saturday Club Night from 5.00 pm until 7.30pm or later if required. An ideal opportunity to get to know your fellow club members and integrate into the appropriate playing strata to suit you own abilities. Open to all ability levels.Charge is only £1.

Monday Night Conditioning 8pm to 9.30pm. Only suitable for intermediate and advanced level players. Charge is between £4 and £5 depending on which coach/trainer is leading the session. [more]
