Court reservation is still made via our online system or via the touchscreen system at the club. On joining you receive an i-button which is programmed with your membership details. if you lose your i-button you will not be able to access the club.

To reserve courts you must still have credit on your account even though the monthly charge includes free use of the courts. We have to do this to ensure members do not reserve courts and then not use them, in this case the reservation fee will not be refunded. The reservation fee will however be refunded if the court booking is satisfied by a fob other than the one that reserved the court. i.e. your playing partner uses their fob on the court controller at the time the court has been reserved for. If you use the same fob that made the court reservation to satisfy the booking this will indicate a guest fee charge and provided sufficient funds are in your account the court will be made available and you will be charged a guest fee of £4 and the reservation fee will be refunded.

You can credit your account by credit or debit card by clicking on 'topup your account by paypal' once you are logged in from the website. Or use cash at the touch screen kiosk at the club.

Extensions: If you don't finish your game and the court is subsequently free you can extend your playing time by 8 minute up to 2 extension period maximum.

Split booking

Split booking is in operation so that you and your opponent demonstrate you are both members. As indicated earlier if the same fob that made the court reservation is used to satisfy the booking you will be charged a £4 guest fee.

Split booking is based on one membership ID reserving a court at either the kiosk or through the internet. Then at the date and time of play, the system requires a second/different membership ID to activate the light circuit via the court controller situated outside the court (within 5 minutes of the designated start time, otherwise the court is available for rebooking and your booking fee is lost). At that point the system will credit the member who reserved the court with the relevant reservation fee and automatically turn on the court lights. If the booking membership ID is also used to activate the light circuit via the court controller situated outside the court, the system assumes a guest is present and will levy the £4 guest fee.
